We are often asked if it is necessary for conductors to know all operas in order to take part in our Opera Conducting Masterclass. The answer is NO; we encourage conductors to divide their podium time between all operas, but some conductors trade podium time with one another so they are able to devote more time to and focus on only one or two operas.
