– private and group coaching;
We are often asked if it is necessary for conductors to know all operas in order to take part in our Opera Conducting Masterclass. The answer is NO; we encourage conductors to divide their podium time between all operas, but some conductors trade podium time with one another so they are able to devote more time to and focus on only one or two operas. In our suggested and standard format, each active-participant conductor conducts a full act or ca. 1/3 of one of the operas in a public performance, in addition to having much rehearsal time on the other two. Please ask us about this point if you have any questions.
